A dynamic QR code only works while the address it points to keeps resolving. When you print an Ace Scan code on a business card, truck, or sign, you’re trusting that it’ll still work years from now. That’s a fair thing to worry about — especially with a lifetime plan. This page is our written promise about exactly that, and the tools we give you so your code is never truly dependent on us.

1. Your code never has to depend on our brand

On paid plans you can point your own domain at your card — for example card.yourbusiness.com instead of scan.getagentace.com/x7k2. When your printed QR encodes an address you own, you are no longer betting on our survival: if anything ever changed, you could point that domain wherever you like and the printed code keeps working. You control the address; we just power what’s behind it.

2. You can export everything, anytime

Your card is yours. From your dashboard you can download, at any time and at no cost:

• A contact file (.vcf) — your full contact details, ready to import anywhere.
• A self-hostable page — a standalone copy of your card you can host on any web host or your own domain, no Ace Scan required.

You never have to ask us for your data, and you never lose access to it.

3. If Ace Scan ever winds down

We will not disappear on you overnight. Our commitment, in writing:

• At least 90 days’ notice by email before any shutdown of the redirect service.
• A final export of every active card as a self-hostable page, so you can move it to your own domain and keep your printed codes working.
• Help re-pointing custom domains during the notice window, so nothing you printed goes dark.
• No silent shutoff. We will never simply let codes stop resolving without notice and an export in your hands.

5. About “lifetime”
